Can I use Kebab Guru if I’m not a club member?
Yes. Everyone can use the Kebab Guru app and join the Discord community completely free of charge. Membership only grants more access to content and extends action limits.
Your Guru level and capabilities (limits) also grow regardless of whether you are a club member.
What additional benefits for club members might appear in the future?
What additional benefits for club members might appear in the future?
We want membership to be not only symbolic, but also useful. Possible future directions:
- Discounts at partner kebab places
- Members-only missions and achievements
- Experimental avatars or visuals
- Invitations to events and mini meetups
None of this is a promise — it’s where we’d like to go. The more support there is, the more of it becomes possible.

I tried to buy a membership or already bought one, but something isn’t working. What should I do?
Membership is activated in the app by linking your Kebab Guru account with your Ko-Fi account. This is done by entering the email you used on KO-FI.
If the email on Ko-Fi and the one on Kebab Guru are different, update the Ko-Fi address in your profile settings.

What actions can you take in the app and what are their limits?
What actions can you take in the app and what are their limits?
At the moment there are 3 actions you can take in the app:
- Visiting a kebab place (check-in) – a location-based mark for visiting a place. Starting limits: 1×/day at the same place, 2×/week at the same place, 10×/month.
- Rating a kebab experience – rating the taste, packaging and craftsmanship. Starting limits: 1×/day at the same place, 1×/week at the same place, 3×/month at the same place, 2×/week in total
Each of these experiences gives experience points (exp) that help raise your guru level. As your level rises or you become a club member and thus increase trust, you can raise some of the limits.
We limit things not to limit – but to keep quality and avoid spam.
